Fare Free Greater Manchester is campaigning for fare-free travel for everyone in Greater Manchester. We support steps in that direction which defend and extend jobs and services, whether that is an expansion of fare-free services, wider eligibility for fare-free travel, or workers demanding travel passes from their employer. We want to see improved and expanded public transport services.

Campaign launch: We will be holding a public meeting to launch our campaign at 7:45pm on Wednesday 10 June 2026, hosted by Manchester TUC. It will be at the Mechanics Institute, 103 Princess Street, M1 6DD (entrance on Major Street) and online. Please register now if you want to attend online.
